About Me
My interest in photography came from my father, as he was a part-time wedding photographer. When I was 15, I saved up to buy my own semi pro camera back then in the 90's, I soon lost interest because I didn't like the process afterwards of developing films.
It was until my 30th when I borrowed my dad's DSLR that the interest sparked again. I am more of a digital kind of person. Since that moment I enjoyed shooting events of organizations I was part of and of course friends and family parties.
Capturing moments is what I truly enjoy about the art of photography.
After a few years of doing it as a side gig I managed to start my own photography business and became a full-time photographer and occasional videographer. In 2019 I moved to the Netherlands, but due to the pandemic, I haven't done much with photography and I lost interest. Yet I remained active as a volunteer photographer for Rode Kruis District Utrecht & Gooi.
After my move back to Curaçao in August 2023, I was approached by so many old clients and some new, that I decided to pick it up again.
So for now, I'm enjoying the ride and see what the future brings.
